Disney+

Disney+ gathers a huge part of modern screen entertainment in one app. Its catalogue spans Disney animation and family films, Pixar stories, Marvel superheroes, Star Wars adventures and National Geographic documentaries, alongside original series and films made for the service itself. That breadth means one subscription can cover a child's bedtime film, a documentary for a quiet evening and a big franchise series for the weekend, without jumping between apps.

The service is organised around its brands and characters, which makes browsing feel more like wandering a familiar library than scrolling an endless list. You can follow a single universe from film to series, revisit old favourites, or pick up a new original that everyone seems to be talking about. New releases and past seasons sit side by side, so there is always something to return to when you finish a series, and the catalogue is deep enough that recommendations rarely run dry.

Picture quality is a genuine strength. Many titles are available in sharp 4K with HDR, and some films offer an expanded IMAX-style picture that fills more of the screen, which suits a living-room television as much as a tablet. Playback is smooth, downloads let you watch offline on the go, and you can pause on one device and pick up on another without losing your place.

Disney+ is also built for households that share. Different profiles keep each person's watchlist and progress separate, parental controls let adults shape what younger viewers can open, and several people can watch at the same time on different screens. It is a comfortable choice for families and for anyone who already loves one of its worlds and wants the rest of them in the same place.
