About Fishdom
Fishdom pairs a match-3 puzzle game with something gentler: building aquariums. You start by solving boards — swapping pieces to make matches, clearing goals and using boosters — and the coins you earn go toward your underwater world. Each new aquarium begins empty, and it is up to you to fill it with plants, decorations, ornaments and, most importantly, fish.
The puzzles are the familiar Playrix style, with thousands of levels that gradually introduce new obstacles and power-ups. Some boards are straightforward, others need a careful eye for a chain reaction or a well-timed booster. The difficulty rises slowly, so the game works as a relaxing break rather than a tense test, though later levels will still make you think.
Decorating is where Fishdom stands apart from other match-3 games. You have a great deal of freedom in how an aquarium looks: the layout, the colours, the theme and the fish themselves are your choices, and new aquariums unlock as you progress, each with its own style. Fish and pets add life to the tanks, swimming around the decorations you have placed, which makes each completed aquarium feel like a small achievement rather than just a menu screen.
Fishdom is free to play, with optional purchases, and the core game does not require a Wi-Fi connection, though competitions and extra features need the internet. Team play lets you join others and compete together if you want a social side. It suits players who enjoy puzzles at a calm pace and who like creating and customising — if you have ever wanted a virtual aquarium without the maintenance, this is a charming way to have one.
