About Township
Township puts you in charge of a whole town, not just a farm or a single building. As mayor, you decide where houses go, which factories to build, what crops to plant and how the town should look. It is a city-building game and a farming game at once, with a match-3 puzzle mode woven in to keep progress moving.
The farming side is the engine. You grow crops, harvest them, and turn them into goods in your factories — bread from wheat, cheese from milk, and so on — then sell those goods or use them to fulfil orders and build new structures. Community buildings, decorations and roads shape the town's character, and the layout is yours to arrange, so two players' towns rarely look alike.
When you want a break from planning, match-3 levels offer a different kind of challenge and earn rewards that speed up building and farming. Competitions let you test your progress against other players, and collections of artifacts and antiquities give long-term goals beyond the next building. Characters with their own personalities appear throughout, adding a friendly, story-like feel to the management.
Township is free to play, with optional purchases, and it can be played offline, though competitions and extra features need an internet connection. It suits players who enjoy a relaxed, long-term building game — checking in to harvest crops, start a factory order and place a new building — and anyone who likes the mix of farming, town design and puzzles in one place.
