About Call of Duty®: Mobile
Call of Duty: Mobile brings the series' large-scale shooting to a phone without losing what made it popular: quick matches, recognisable maps and a clear sense of progression. The core multiplayer modes will feel familiar to long-time players — Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search and Destroy and Hardpoint — played on classic maps such as Nuketown, Shipment and Rust, where knowing a corner or a sightline can matter as much as aim.
Battle royale is the other major mode, and it plays very differently. You drop into a large map, gather weapons and equipment, and survive as the safe area shrinks, either alone or in a squad. Vehicles help you cross open ground, while tactical choices — when to fight, when to move, when to stay quiet — often decide who reaches the final circle. It is slower and tenser than a five-minute multiplayer match, and that contrast is part of the appeal.
Customisation gives players room to develop a style. Loadouts can be built around assault rifles, SMGs, sniper rifles or shotguns, with attachments, perks and scorestreaks that change how a weapon handles. Ranked play adds a ladder for competitive players, with ranks to climb and rewards for consistent performance. Controls can be adjusted, with different firing modes and HUD layouts, which helps new mobile players find a setup that feels comfortable.
The game needs an internet connection, and it is best suited to players who enjoy competitive shooting rather than casual play. Matches are short, the gunplay is responsive, and the variety of modes means a session can be a quick team match or a longer battle royale run. It is free to play, with optional purchases, and it remains one of the most complete first-person shooters available on mobile.
