Wuthering Waves is a story-rich open-world action RPG that gives you an unusual amount of freedom. You wake from your slumber as Rover, a traveller with lost memories, and set out on a journey to reclaim them and change the world. The setting is Solaris, a world desolated by the Lament and born anew from the ashes — silent embers on the shore, creations left static, and humanity rising again. Companions to meet, enemies to conquer, new powers to gain and hidden truths to unveil: that is the shape of your odyssey.

Exploration is one of the game's great strengths. The overworld is expansive and immersive, and you are free to roam it without the stamina limits that hold back movement in many similar games.
